You can use ClickGrow's Blogging AI even if your website platform isn't directly supported.
Blogging AI allows you to generate complete articles and export them for manual publishing.
This is particularly useful if:
Your website platform doesn't have a ClickGrow integration.
You use a custom-built website.
You prefer uploading articles yourself.
Your website is managed by a developer or agency.
1. Open Your Generated Article
Log in to ClickGrow.
Select your business.
Navigate to Blogging AI.
Open the completed article you want to publish.
2. Select Manual Publishing
Click Publish manually or Export post, depending on the option displayed in your dashboard.
You'll see the available export options.
3. Export Your Article
You can export your article using either of the following methods.
Export Option | What You Receive | Recommended For |
Copy HTML | Formatted article content in HTML. | Customers who can paste HTML into their website editor. |
Download ZIP | Article content and an images folder. | Customers working with web developers or agencies. |
Option A: Copy HTML
Click Copy HTML.
Open your website's article editor.
Paste the HTML into the appropriate section.
Review the content and formatting.
Publish the article on your website.
Option B: Download ZIP
Click Download ZIP.
Save the downloaded ZIP file.
Extract the file to access the article and images.
Upload the content using your website's publishing process.
Alternatively, share the ZIP file with your web developer so they can publish the article for you.
Important: Exporting an article does not automatically publish it on your website.
You or your web developer must complete the publishing process.
4. Mark the Article as Published
After publishing the article on your website:
Return to the same article in Blogging AI.
Mark the article as published.
Enter the live article URL if available.
If you don't have the URL yet, skip the field and continue.
The article status will change to Published manually.
This helps you track manually published articles within ClickGrow.
5. Add the Live Article URL Later
If your article was published but you didn't have the live URL at the time, you can add it later.
For example, your web developer may publish the article the following day.
To add the URL:
Navigate to Blogging AI.
Locate the article marked Published manually.
Open the article.
Click Add live link.
Paste the published article URL.
Save your changes.
If a URL already exists, select Edit to update it.
Note: You don't need to regenerate or re-export the article to add or update its live URL.
6. What If You Connect Your Website Later?
If you later connect a supported CMS, you can use the normal automatic publishing workflow for future articles.
Navigate to:
Blogging AI → Settings → Connect Blog Accounts
Connect your website and configure your automation settings.
