Understanding Brand Intelligence & Website Scanning

Brand Intelligence is how ClickGrow's AI learns everything about your business. When you add a business, our AI automatically scans your website, online presence and many other data points to understand your brand voice, services, and unique qualities. This allows ClickGrow to create hyper personalized marketing that sounds exactly like you.


How Website Scanning Works

When you first add your business to ClickGrow, our AI performs an automatic website scan. Here’s what happens:

  1. Discovery – We find all the pages on your website

  2. Scanning – We read through each page to understand your content (plus many other data points from outside your website)

  3. Extraction – We pull out key facts, images, and information about your business

  4. Processing – We organize everything so our AI can use it when creating posts

This process typically takes 1–5 minutes, depending on how many pages your website has. You’ll see a progress indicator showing the scan status.


What’s Inside Brand Intelligence

When you open your business dashboard and click on the Brand Intelligence tab, you’ll see all the sources our AI uses to understand your brand. Each section plays a role in shaping your content.


Business Profile

Your core business information, including:

  • Business name and description

  • Contact information (phone, email, address)

  • Business hours

  • Brand voice and tone

  • Industry and target audience

Tip: You can edit this information anytime to fine-tune how ClickGrow writes for you.


Website

A complete list of pages scanned from your website. You can:

  • View every page that was discovered

  • See pages organized by section (such as /about, /services, etc.)

  • Remove any pages you don’t want the AI to use


Content Snippets

Important facts and details extracted from your website, organized into structured snippets such as:

  • Business Basics – Name, tagline, years in business

  • Services & Products – What you offer

  • Locations & Service Areas – Where you operate

  • Contact & Hours – How customers reach you

  • Unique Qualities – What makes your business different

  • Customer Experience – Reviews, testimonials, policies

Each snippet includes a confidence level. You can confirm, edit, or remove any snippet to ensure accuracy.

Tip: You can also add more snippets using the + Add Custom Content button on the snippets page.


Locations

Information pulled from your Google Business Profile, including:

  • Business address and service area

  • Phone number and website

  • Business hours

  • Customer reviews and ratings

  • Business categories

Tip: Connecting your Google Business Profile ensures the most accurate location data.


Brand Identity

Your visual brand elements, such as:

  • Logo variations

  • Brand colors

  • Fonts and typography

These assets help ensure any AI-generated visuals match your brand style.


Media Assets

Images discovered during your website scan, organized by category, and analyzed by AI to learn everything about them:

  • Products – Photos of what you sell

  • Team – Staff and team photos

  • Lifestyle – Action shots and customer photos

  • Location – Photos of your business location

You can also upload your own images here for the AI to use in posts.


Documents

PDFs and other documents found on your website, such as menus, brochures, or price lists. ClickGrow’s AI reads these to better understand your offerings.

You can also manually upload documents like:

  • Service brochures

  • Pricing guides

  • Menu PDFs

  • Company presentations


Help Center

Connect external help center platforms (such as Intercom) to import your support documentation. This helps the AI understand your products, services, and customer FAQs in more detail.


When Does Scanning Happen?

  • Initial setup – Automatically when you add a new business

  • Ongoing learning – The AI continuously learns from connected data sources
